Photo Hunters: Bad Hair
Today I am modeling my pretty, summery dress. It has a fancy pink underskirt, and it ties at the shoulder with pink ribbons. I usually do not like plaid very much, but I think this is a good plaid.
Here I got a little bit distracted because a modeling treat got onto the table. That was a little bit unprofessional of me. Sorry.
My Mommie Photographer told me to smile real big and act cute. I know how to follow directions!
Uh oh! I just noticed that the bodice of my dress is slipping a little bit. I think my shoulders might be too narrow to wear this dress properly.
I almost forgot! This dress comes with a little matching bow you can wear on your head!

Photo Hunters: Bad Hair
I am very excited and happy today, because the Photo Hunters theme is bad hair. If you are having a bad fur day or a bad hair day, there are many fashionable ways to cover up so nobody even notices. Here is a retrospective of some of my headgear!
If you live in the wilderness, you can wear this plaid hunting cap. The fleecy lining makes it very warm. This look is not very practical in south Florida.
A more stylish look is this jaunty sailor's cap. This is good if you are sailing the High Seas. I have not done this yet, but I still think it is okay to wear the cap.
The next option you can try is a hooded top, like this Baja Hoodie. I do not like how it squishes my ears. If you have small ears, you might enjoy this hoodie better.
For sporty occasions, you can wear a baseball cap. This one is extra-fancy because it is all fuzzy. I recommend the chin-strap for extra security.
If your hair is only a little bit bad, you can try a fancy headband.
Another good option is a wig. I enjoy being a blond.
Finally, if your hairs or furs are really, really, really, really bad and you do not wish to be recognized, you can try a disguise. Can you tell that's me inside the pink pony suit? Well, you cannot notice if my furs are messy or not!

Where I have lived before
When I wrote earlier this week about living in Virginia, I think some of you did not know I ever lived there. So I have decided to tell you all of the different places I have lived.
First, I lived in my cat-mommie's tummy while I was waiting to be borned. I do not really remember living in there. And my cat-mommie might not have looked so much like me. I am not too clear on how these things work.
Next, I lived in this house in south Florida, in a town called Parkland in Broward county. This is where my Mommie took me to live after she got me from the Devon Rex breeder. My house actually has windows, but in this photo a hurricane is coming and the metal hurricane shutters are on all of the windows. I do not enjoy being in a hurricane.
I do not remember very much about living in that house because I was just a baby then. Here is a photo of a real live alligator that crawled onto my back yard at that house. Believe me, he is much bigger than a lizard.
Next, I moved into this house in February 2005. This house lives in Virginia, so I had to fly on an airplane to get there. The town is called Stone Ridge, in Loudoun county. I was just one year old when we moved there. Sometimes it was cold and snowy at that house. No lizards lived there that I ever saw. No alligators, either.
Here is a picture of inside that house. I walked on those countertops, too. And I could get to the top of the cabinets just by jumping onto the refrigerator.
Here are some pretty tulips that my Mommie and Daddie planted at that house. I never got to go Outside even once when I lived in Virginia. Not even to sniff the flowers. I did not own a stroller or a harness and leash back then. Maybe I was too young.
Next we moved back to south Florida! I had to fly in an airplane again. My Mommie and Daddie bought this house in June 2006. This is where I live now! It is in Parkland again.
Here is what a bird sees when it is looking at my house. You can click to see it bigger.
I hope you enjoyed my tour!

I am very, very proud to take part in the Blogblast for Peace! Here is my peace globe:
In honor of today, my Mommie made me a special crown of daisies. Flower Power is a symbol of non-violence.

This is my back foot. Since I am a Calico cat, I have multi-colored toes. I have one raisin toe on each foot. Do you see the raisin-y one?
Here is my other back foot. Do you spot the raisin toe here? My Mommie calls it "Raisin Toest" even though you cannot eat this toast.
Here is a close-up of my toes. I think I like my pink toes better than my raisin toes. But I am not sure.
ps: Did you spot my special Hello Kitty paw pad?
